Introducd：Sharpeys fibers represent the extension of the periodontal fibers into the alveolar bone and are integral parts of bone matrix.
Sharpey's fibers represent the extension of the periodontal fibers into the alveolar bone and are integral parts of bone matrix. This type of bone is often referred to as bundle bone. The collagen fibers run parallel within the Sharpey's fibers, and the central core is often unmineralized.
